Today is one of those days when it’s nice and sunny outside, and I’m thinking about how nice it would be to be at the beach where it’s even warmer. I talked to my Dad this weekend about planning a beach vacation with him and my step-mom this year. He invites us along every year, but we just haven’t had the time.

This year I really want to take Elliana to the beach, but I figure it would be much easier to do so if we went with other family. We talked about planning a camping trip, and that might be easier than a hotel since my Dad has a nice sized camper. Otherwise we’ll probably end up renting a beach house again depending on where we go. As much as I love going to Edisto I might try to convince him to go to the Outer Banks this year. It’s been a long time since we went there.

Plus my Dad has been thinking about buying a beach house, and the Outer Banks might be the perfect place for him to find one, especially since I already know where he can find Outer banks foreclosures. My Dad is always looking at foreclosed properties around here, so it could secretly be my way to get him to buy a beach house sooner. LOL Did my little devil horns just pop through a bit? If he’s already thinking about buying it might not hurt to get him to look in areas where we want to vacation, too!
