She’s finally asleep, and I’m sure it will only be a few minutes before this child decides to wake up again.  I swear she doesn’t believe in sleeping…that is unless she’s in bed with me.  That’s what I get for falling asleep with her while feeding her a couple times.  Since then it’s been a constant struggle to get her to sleep…day or night…unless she’s being held or I lay down in my bed with her.

So of course I’m taking advantage of these few minutes when she’s actually asleep in her pack n play.  I was overjoyed at the fact that I actually had time to pay bills!  Go figure.  Now I’m trying to get some baby shower ideas together.  I’m going to have two to plan this year, one for a friend and one for my sister.  My sister isn’t due ’til June, so I don’t have to worry about that one for awhile.  I’ll start planning it about the time Hubby starts worrying about where to buy cigars for my bro-in-law.

I do have to start working on the shower I’m helping throw for a friend, though. She’s due at the end of March, so it’s about time to get on the ball. I don’t want her to end up like I did, in the hospital having my child the day before my shower. Hubby ended up going to my shower for me. Yep, I definitely want to make sure we throw this shower early enough that even if she were to end up in the hospital early she may still get a shower. I just need to make sure we get on the ball planning it, so I’m using every free moment the baby gives me today to work on that. Too bad those free moments are few and far between.
