Shopping Online With Coupons

Save Money

With the way things are around here these days financially I know I’m going to have to learn to find bargains in more places than normal.  I do clip coupons, but I haven’t been clipping them as often as I should.  I admit I got slack because I just didn’t have to worry about it at the time.  We had the cash we needed, and we were doing ok.

Now that we’re not only dealing with Hubby’s job status but the fact we’ve got a baby on the way I’m definitely going out of my way to use coupons.   One way we’ve learned to save is by taking advantage of the online sale prices that some stores run.  There are a lot of stores like Walmart that will offer better deals online than they offer in store, so you can not only find Walmart coupons to help you save cash, but you can also take advantage of the cheaper online pricing and free shipping to your local store!

If you’re the type of person who doesn’t feel like sitting down with the Sunday paper and a pair of scissors you don’t have to give up on saving money.  Remember coupon codes are all around us, and the power of saving with internet shopping is endless.

Sweating Over Baby Names

This week has flown by a lot sooner than I expected.  Then again it seems like the farther I progress into my pregnancy the quicker time moves.  It seems like yesterday Hubby and I were groaning about the fact that our second ultrasound, and hopefully the day we find out the baby’s sex, was months away.

Where did the last 5 months go?  Tomorrow is that all important day, and if the baby cooperates we will no longer be calling our little bundle of joy “Peanut” or “Munchkin”.  If this child decides to be stubborn (considering the parents I know it’s got a stubborn streak) it will have to keep those nicknames for a few more months, but we really want to be able to give this little one it’s name.

If we find out it is a girl, like 99% of our family and friends expect, she will become Eliana Grace…El or Ella as a nickname.  If our munchkin turns out to be our little man (Hubby’s crossing fingers and toes)  he will most likely be known as Charles Aiden.

I say most likely because we’re still having issues with the boy’s name. We both agreed on Charles Aiden from the beginning, and I’ll admit I’m the one changing my mind.  Being that I had to deal with the whole “Jennifer” thing growing up, I just don’t know if I want my child to have to go through the same most popular name deal.  Do I want 20 other Aidens (or choose your spelling) in his kindergarten class?

We definitely know we will not be calling him Charles, Charlie, or any other variation of the first name.  We are only choosing Charles because it is a family name passed down through every 3rd generation.  We spent 2 hours last night crossing alternative names off the list…of course Hubby has nixed every other name I’ve decided on, but he’s not offering any other suggestions.  He’s dead set on Aiden.

I don’t even know why I’m sweating it right now.   The way I see it there’s at least a 50% chance we’re going to walk into that office tomorrow and discover a little baby girl floating around on that monitor, so I don’t need to stress myself out over a name that may never be used.  If we do walk in there and discover a boy, or if we find the baby uncooperative, we’ll have another 4 months to decide.

Too Stinkin’ Cute

I may not be a fan of Evian water, but I’m definitely a fan of their Evian Roller Babies video that has definitely gone viral across Youtube. Seriously though, how can you not like a video with cute babies rollerblading and dancing?  We all know babies sell!

Anywho if you’re one of the few people who still hasn’t seen it check it out.  Ya know what?  Check it out anyway because it’s just too stinkin’ cute!

I’ll definitely leave the dancing to the babies. I’d probably end up injuring myself so badly I’d be applying for social security disability if I tried to do some of the moves they have these babies do in videos like that. Oh, and if this little munchkin kickin’ around inside of me comes out dancing like that I think I’ll know I watched this video one too many times!
