Acting Like A Child

It’s so pretty outside today that I thought we’d have an awesome day.  We had a little shopping to do, so I thought we’d head out this morning for breakfast, do our shopping, and then enjoy being outside in this beautiful weather.

Oh how wrong I was.  This is one of those days I wish would end immediately so maybe we can start on a better day.  Hubby woke up horribly grumpy and with the mindset of a 2 year old during the middle of their worst terrible 2 stage.  His allergies finally decided to make an appearance, and he’s not very happy about it.  Of course he refuses to take any meds to make him feel better, so I get to spend the day babying the grump.

When he’s in a grumpy mood it seems to put everyone he comes in contact with in a grumpy mood as well.  Today everything is making his mood worse.  We went to Tractor Supply to pick up a bag of dog food, and he got pissy because he had to wait at checkout for a whole 2 minutes.

We were supposed to go check out the prices at the tuxedo rental store in town so I can budget in how much we’ll be spending on a rental for our friend’s wedding, but he drove right past the place, so I knew better than to mention it. He also drove right past the grocery store which was the main place I needed to go, and then he yelled that he didn’t feel like going there. Well then why the heck did you even leave the house in the first place?

Then we went to Zaxby’s for lunch because that’s what he wanted, but he refused to order anything because he suddenly couldn’t find anything on the menu he liked anymore.  Then he pouted the whole way home because he wanted Zaxby’s fries, and it was all my fault I ordered a salad instead of something with fries.

Seriously, he’s acting like a pouty little toddler, so when we got home I decided to let him be, but then he got pissy because he was “lonely” watching tv by himself.  I have totally had it, and I’m to the point where I’m ready to just leave, go shopping, and hope he’s in a better mood when I come home.  I don’t know why the heck he thinks it’s ok to act this way just because his sinuses are stuffy.  Take some freakin’ medicine and get over it already, but stop acting like a child!
