Pain Pumps & Lawsuits

My uncle was in a car wreck a few years ago that seriously injured his shoulder, spine, and hip. He’s undergone many surgeries, and he’s dealt with a lot of pain. I thought of him this morning when I came across an article about the pain pump and how they can lead to Postarthroscopic Glenohumeral Chondrolysis (PAGCL).

I thought of him because just recently he was talking to my Hubby about how he thought he was going to have to go see his doctor about his shoulder because it had been giving him some serious trouble. He does have arthritis in it now, but some days it hurts him so bad he can’t work.

When I came across the info on the pain pump I thought I should pass it on to him. I do remember him having a pain pump. I was a teenager when he wrecked, and during his first surgery they gave him the pain pump. At the time I was leaning towards a career in sports medicine, and I was intrigued with it and how it delivered medication directly to his shoulder. Now I’m worried about him, and I think I should pass on the info I found about the pain pump and all the lawsuits because of it.
