I’m sitting here shivering. We’ve been running around all evening, and I’ve been chilled to the bone. We stopped by my best friend’s house for a few minutes since I haven’t seen her in over a month, but I just felt too horrible to stick around long. Hubby played a few songs on Rock Band, then we headed home.
As soon as we walked in the door I sat down in my recliner, wrapped up in two blankets, and asked Hubby to build a fire. Saturday was unseasonably warm, and now we’re seeing our first below freezing nights of the season.
As usual the change in temps has thrown my head into a loop again. I can’t breathe, I’m sneezing like crazy, and I’ve got major sinus drainage going on. It drains down my throat, chokes me, and then I end up puking up dinner. Doesn’t it just sound wonderful?
My head feels like it’s on fire, but the rest of my body is shivering. I think I might call it an early night tonight. Heck I’m even tempted to pull out a sleeping bag and camp right in front of the wood stove. It’d be one thing if my body was nice and healthy enough to fight back, but I’ve barely recovered from the cold bug we had last week. I’m hoping I’m not getting a second run of that nasty stuff.
