2pm Wild Turkey

When I said this was a bad week, I meant it.  My other blog is still down.  I don’t know wtf is going on with the server, and I’m about to pull my hair out.  Other than that at least the weekend hasn’t been too bad.

We spent all day yesterday at Hubby’s cousin’s wedding.  It was a beautiful wedding, and we got to see family from all over the country that we haven’t seen in a couple years.  The reception was in the restaurant at the hotel where the out of town family stayed, so after the reception was over we all headed back to the hotel for an impromptu family reunion.  We had a blast.

Of course, Uncle Bob buying rounds of Wild Turkey for the entire family definitely helped my mood.  I definitely married into a great family! lol  Oh, and Connie, I didn’t get drunk, but I did take your advice and have enough booze to feel pretty dang good for the rest of the day.

I do have photos, but I have to finish editing them.  My mother in law’s camera was cooperating, her batteries died shortly after we got to the reception, so I let her use my little Kodak.  She’s an awesome photographer, but the crappy camera mixed with horrible lighting in the ballroom made it almost impossible to get decent shots.  I’ll have to lighten up a lot of them and work what magic I can to make them decent.  I do have a pretty nice photo of the bride and groom.

Brian and Amy, you look so beautiful together!

Congrats, and I hope you’re having a super awesome time in Cancun right now!

Now I’m off to help my little sis-in-law do some research for a project she has due tomorrow.  She’s had all week to come up with a presentation relating the economy and history, and of course she waited until 9:30pm the night before it was due to work on it. I suggested she look up popular jobs over the last decade, and compare which jobs were more popular as the economy has changed. Of course, suggesting something like that roped me into also helping her!
