Showin’ The Boobies

It’s that time again!  It’s October, and it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month.  This year I’m definitely participating in the 7th Annual Boobie-Thon, and I’m hoping every single one of you will, too.  I started off a little late, but I got my first Boobie Shot sent in a little after midnight last night.  Yep, that means my boobies appeared online today.  Which rack is mine?  That’s a guess you’ll have to make on your own.  I won’t be helpful in identifying them.

I also got my donation in to Bloggers Helping Bloggers and the KatScan Fund.   This year’s recipient is Kat, and I’m extremely happy she was chosen.  She’s been through some serious medical issues lately, and she’s already on a really tight budget.  I couldn’t think of a better blogger to receive this year’s Bloggers Helping Bloggers portion of the Boobie-Thon donations.  She’ll receive $359 out of the donations.

I’ll be placing my donation for Komen tomorrow after payday rolls around. In the past Boobie-Thon has raised over $40,000 for breast cancer research, and this year raised $2125 in the very first day of the event this year, October 1st!

I’m asking you all to participate in any way you can.  If you can’t afford to donate, that’s ok.  If you have a blog of your own, think about putting up a Boobie-Thon banner to help spread the word.  If you don’t have a blog, or if you want to go a little further consider submitting your rack for a good cause.  Yes, I’m talking about boobie shot photos here, and no I’m not talking about sexy porno shots either.  I’m also asking you guys to participate as well!  Breast cancer doesn’t just effect women.  The American Cancer Society says breast cancer will take the lives about 450 men in 2008.

The more time we spend coming together to raise money for breast cancer research, the more likely we are to find a cure and save lives!
