How Often Do You Quote?
How often do you look at auto insurance comparisons? Do you wait until it’s just about time to renew your insurance policy, or do you check for new quotes all the time? I can’t believe how many people never check different quotes to see if they could possibly save money on their insurance. Even if I’m absolutely certain my current company is the cheapest I still grab a comparison to see.
How do I do it? I try to request quotes from different companies at least once every couple months. No, you don’t have to wait until your current policy is running out to switch. For months my bike insurance quoted the same, then one month it suddenly changed and two other companies started offering me a policy for a much lower price. Because I stayed on top of it I was able to switch and save about $400 a year. It pays to keep an eye on things, especially where money is concerned.
