Creating Signature Tags

I used to be a big time signature tag creator.  Over the past year or so I’ve kind of slacked off on it.  I just lost the desire to create.  Something changed over the past couple of weeks though.  I’ve sat down at my PC many times, opened up Paint Shop Pro, and started creating.

My skills are definitely a little rusty, but sitting down to create something reminded me of exactly why I got into signature tags in the first place.  When I feel the need to clear my head it’s something that I can get lost in.

Of course things have changed a lot over the last year.  A lot of my favorite artists no longer grant general permissions to signature tag creators.  There are companies that I guess you can call “middle men” that sell the tubes we need to make our creations.  There are also a lot of great artists out there that still grant permission though.  I started compiling a new list of some of my favorite artists that are “Free To Use” artists, and I think I might just have to get myself back into creating.  I’m also making a list of the tubes I want to purchase so I have the rights to make tags with those images and possibly open up my signature tag website again.  I took it down last year when I fell into this non-creative funk.

Once I opened PSP I realized how much I’ve missed doing this.
