3x Thursday

I’m trying a new meme this week. If you would like to join in check out 3x Thursday!

1. If you could live anywhere on this planet, where would it be? Why?

That’s a tough one. I would probably choose Ireland. I think it’s just so beautiful. Then again I’m pretty happy living right here. I would definitely have vacation homes all over the world!

2. If you could drive any vehicle (price, oil consumption, and functionality are no object here), what would it be? How would you deck it out to suit your tastes?

Yet another tough one! Do I really have to pick just one? Ok ok I’d have an Audi R8 fully loaded of course!

3. If you had $1 million (after taxes), all for whatever purpose you wanted to do with it (for your personal consumption only…no being generous to other people!), what would you do with it?

First I’d pay off all my debt. Then I’d build a house (not too big though), buy a few more bikes, buy new cars for Hubby and I, and then I’d bank the rest of it.

Late Night Readings

This insomnia has me so bored tonight I’m doing things I wouldn’t normally do. I played about 3 hours of Reflexive Arcade games, now I’m reading articles on things I totally don’t understand like Brazilian Sugar Prices.

When I saw the article I decided it would probably be interesting to read because I know the prices of food products are going up just as quickly as gas prices. But does that mean prices of food type products imported from other countries are going up as well?

I still don’t understand a lot about the article, but I did learn a few things. I didn’t know there was an international rating scale for the quality of the sugar called icumsa. I learned that white, refined, granulated sugar is the highest quality you can buy. There are a lot of different types of raw sugar, and only one of them is consumable.

Yeah, this stuff does kind of interest me. Remember I’ve always been a science freak, so I guess the science nut in me realized it’s interesting to know this stuff.

‘Ole Smoky

Ok, incase your wondering I decided to tell you what the photo from my Wordless Wednesday post is all about.  It’s from our trip to Deal’s Gap last Saturday.  As we were driving up 441, it was still pretty early (around 8:30am), and I just absolutely love the way the clouds/fog roll off the mountains that early.

They don’t call them the Smoky Mountains for nothing!

When I saw us coming up on that mountain with the big billowing cloud it totally reminded me of a volcano!
